Oversnow Information


A new oversnow operator (4SITE) has taken over operations at Perisher for the 2023 season. Information provided to us by 4Site has been copied below, for your information.

Information from 4SITE:

We have new oversnow vehicles this year and we are looking forward to introducing them into our fleet.

We ask you for your patience and support throughout the season.

Operational Hours

  • Operating the same time as the Ski Tube timetable. Closing half an hour after the last train.
  • First Accommodation Transfers from 7.30am.
  • No after hours service

Guest Procedure

  1. When you arrive in the Ski tube building, attend the 4SITE Perisher Guest services desk to organise/pay for your oversnow transfer.
  2. At this point we will book in a return date and pick up time based on available times in our computerised calendar system.
  3. We will then arrange for you to get onto the next available oversnow vehicle to your lodge.
  4. Your ticket will be the receipt our guest services give you. This must be shown to the driver when loading.
  5. On checkout day we will send an oversnow vehicle to your lodge to pick you up at the scheduled time. Depending on the number of people, our drivers may do several pickups on the way.
  6. We ask guests to be out the front of the Lodge 10 Minutes prior to their pickup time. Pick up times are printed on the receipt that you received when you booked your initial transfer. (step 2)
  7. Note there is no luggage storage provided at guest services.
  8. Pick up times can be changed by phoning our guest services during operating hours 24hrs prior
  9. to scheduled pick up time. Ph: 02 6412 2244

Snow Skier Special (Skis Only, No Luggage)

  • We aim to provide this service, based on availability of our vehicles.
  • Operation hours for this service will be: 8.00am-9.30am and 3.30pm-5.00pm daily, as well as Tuesdays and Saturdays when night skiing is on.
  • Luggage transfers will take priority during these times
  • Outside the scheduled time we will do our best to accommodate guest requests.
  • Pricing will be: Adult $15pp one way and $10 for children.

This can be paid:

– via card over the phone

– with cat drivers for morning pickup and

– through guest services on afternoon drop offs

Taxi Service (On Demand)

Guests are welcome to call our guest services and ask for a service. Our ability to provide this service will be dependent on our oversnow vehicle availability. Guest transfers with luggage to accommodation will always take priority.

Pricing will be Adult $20pp, Children $15pp.

Taxi Service (Whole Snowcat, 10 people Pre-booked)

For guests wishing to book a taxi service for example “a dinner reservation at another lodge” We will attempt to accommodate this as we bring in more oversnow vehicles. This service is not guaranteed so we will not be advertising this service from day one. To enquire if we are able to accommodate this please phone our Guest Services.
